Business Launch July 2016

Leitrim Hill Bed & Breakfast is a small family run business established in 2016. The business is owned by Anne Doran who after 40 years of working in Administration  decided to go it alone, follow her dream and set up her own business!

Anne is supported by her family Wilson & Thomas who work around the clock to ensure that a bespoke service is offered to every guest.

The Mission Statement – Making Our House Your Home 

Anne was determined from the outset that upon guest arrival home baked treats and refreshments should be served to ensure that guests received a family welcome. Hence the coined term – ‘Making Our House Your Home’ – (which Thomas takes full credit for, having devised the terminology over a white chocolate scone at the kitchen table)!

The Mission Statement has become the driving force behind the family’s focus in constantly reviewing and enhancing their operations to ensure an engaged customer experience, tailored to the individuals needs.

Greater Newry Area Business Awards

In September 2017 Leitrim Hill B&B received the Award for ‘Best Tourism Business’. The award was gifted based on the business contribution to ensuring an overall guest experience by partnering with other local business, driving value for the local economy and fantastic guest reviews on booking sites. Facing of strong competent for reputable long established business’ (The Canal Court included) the owners where simply blown away by the reception of their small start-up business.
